"House of Cards" season 3 spoilers will revolve around Doug Stamper's "death" after he was bludgeoned by Rachel Poster three times on the head with a rock in chapter 26 of the TV series. Meanwhile, Robin Wright revealed that she almost turned down the role of Claire Underwood.
In "House of Cards" season 2, chapter 26, Doug Stamper's (Michael Kelly) eyes exhibited "miminal twitch" which means there's still hope.
The "House of Cards" season 3 spoilers claim that he will be back, whether it will be a corpse or not is not clear, because the first episode of the third season will have police investigating his death.
Rachel Brosnahan (Rachel Posner) also dished out some spoilers of her own as she told Entertainment Weekly that she doesn't think Doug Stamper is really dead because Michael Kelly-unlike his character-is a very nice man so "he can't be dead."
As to her own character coming back, Rachel Brosnahan told InsideTV that she hasn't any clue what will happen in the third season but she thinks that Rachel Posner should be back if only for the show to tie up loose ends.
"I also think it's interesting if Rachel came back because she's one of the bigger threats to Frank now," she said.
The "House of Cards" release date is still unknown although filming has already begun and will continue in June,ecumenicalnews.com said.
Rick Cleveland, the TV series' co-showrunner, earlier revealed that "House of Cards" will continue as long as Kevin Space and Robin Wright will continue to play Frank Underwood and Claire Underwood.
Speaking of Robin Wright, she told Town & Country magazine that she didn't want to play anybody's housewife. "If there's nothing for me to do as an actress, that's frustrating. I'd rather go work at a menial labour job, where I can actually get my hands dirty," she said.
