In her first media interview after the couple separated ways, Tiger Woods' ex-wife disclosed that she and her former husband are still in good terms. In fact, she even called the famous golfer, "a great father". The couple's marriage ended four years ago due to Woods' serial infidelity.

During an interview with People, the golfer's ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, remarked that Woods' controversial affairs are now a thing of the past. Nordegren further shared, "I have moved on, and I am in a good place. My relationship with Tiger is centered around our children, and we are doing really good - we really are - and I am so happy that is the case. He is a great father."

The marriage of the couple ended in divorce in 2010 after his more than a dozen of extra-marital affairs got publicized. The scandal was regarded as one of the biggest sex and relationship scandals in the sports arena. Why these scandals became such as major issue is primarily because of Woods' status as a prominent figure in the world of sports.

Indeed, these scandals caused a major stain in the reputation of Woods. Known to be one of the wealthiest and most famous athletes worldwide, Woods ended up losing endorsements worth millions of dollars. He also became the headline of tabloids for a couple of months. This was definitely the kind of publicity frowned upon by his camp.

The couple wed in 2003 and has been blessed with two children, daughter Sam and son Charlie. The divorce gave Nordegren a settlement approximated to be worth $100 million.

Nordegren also admitted she still continues her weekly therapy sessions. "In the beginning, you tamp down the animosity for the children's sake," she said. "That was always my dream, that the kids can have two loving parents that show respect for each other. And I feel that's what they have."
