Ronda Rousey news reveals the current UFC women's bantamweight champion's answer to UFC President Dana White's latest statements about her fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr.

"Rowdy" aired out her retorts at the UFC 175 pre-fight press conference, saying how the said fight was a "terrible idea."

"You would never report me saying something like 'I think that Floyd Mayweather is the best boxer that ever lived, an actual, technical boxer'," Ronda Rousey explained. "Of course Floyd would box the hell out of me if it was a boxing match."

"But boxing is a limited form of fighting, and we're a much less limited form of fighting and I've trained my whole life to prepare for things he hasn't prepared for," she added. "I prepare to get hit and to be taken down."

UFC President Dana White brought up the idea this past week of what could happen if Ronda Rousey and Floyd Mayweather fought each other in a street fight. The UFC executive did go with the same argument as "Rowdy" about how "Money's" skills are limited to boxing, and might not go well against an Olympic medalist in judo.

"Do you think Floyd Mayweather has ever had his feet kicked out from under him?" White asked rhetorically. "She walks around at 160, 165. At 165 pounds, all her weight coming down on him, on the street, on here, on the concrete, I don't care where it is, she's going to hurt him badly. I've seen her throw big dudes and hurt 'em."

During the press conference, however, White went on a different tone, saying "they do not condone men vs. women fighting."

Ronda Rousey, on the other hand, maintained her original stance on the matter.

"I think in professional fighting, it would be a terrible idea," she said.

Ronda Rousey will be facing Alexis Davis with the women's bantamweight title on the line. They will be the co-main event fight for UFC 175, which is scheduled to take place on July 5th, at the Mandalay Events Center in Las Vegas.
