EuropaCorp and Universal Studio's latest movie "Lucy" has a confirmed release date and it's on July 25 2014.
Lucy is an English language French-produced superhero film and it is directed, written, edited and co-produced by French director Luc Besson who is known for his other works such as "Taken", "the Transporter", and "Brick Mansion". The movie stars Scarlett Johanson as she takes on a different kind of hero in Lucy.
The story of movie is set in a world ruled by the mob, street gangs, drug addicts and corrupt cops. Lucy is a woman living Taipei who is captured by the mob and is forced to work as drug mule for them. The drug was implanted in her body starts to leak out in her system, and as a result she gain superhuman capabilities both in physical and mental aspects. Lucy becomes more powerful each day to the point that she can utilize "100% of the human brain".
