Henry Cavill Girlfriend Gina Carano continues to expand her movie career. Carano stars as Ava, a new bride whose husband disappears during a Caribbean honeymoon. She uncovers a dark underworld and sets out discover the truth and those responsible using her skills.

Carano plays as a female fighter who uncovers a vast conspiracy in the Caribbean when her new husband is kidnapped on their honeymoon. Newlywed Ava (Carano) and her husband are celebrating their recent marriage in paradise when the smitten groom vanishes into thin air. Devastated, Ava seeks brutal revenge against the men she believes to have abducted him. The closer Ava gets to the answers, however, the more apparent it becomes that she has stumbled into a plot that's bigger than she could have ever expected. Now, she must survive long enough to seek vengeance, and to expose the sinister act of treason once and for all.

Variety reported that according to suggestions of Steven Soderbergh, the best way to appreciate Carano's talents was via a combination of long takes and quick, brutal action sequences.

"In the Blood" is directed by John Stockwell, who according to Yahoo, is mixing paid vacations and directing as has the same kind of sun n' surf setting as several of his earlier films, including "Blue Crush" (2002), "Into the Blue" (2005), "Turistas" (2006) and "Dark Tide" (2012). Let's not forget that before becoming a shorts-and-sandals-wearing director, Stockwell was an actor who seemed to prefer land ("Christine," "My Science Project") and air ("Top Gun") to water.

Reportedly, the approximate pricing for the DVD version is USD $24.98 while the Blu-Ray version will go for USD $30.99. The runtime for both is 108 minutes.
