Fans of Mike Ross can expect to not see him hanging around Pearson Specter in "Suits" season 4.
This follows the ending of season three where Mike landed a job at an investment bank. His mentor, Harvey Specter on the other hand, has had his fair share of mishap including a possible jail time, and Dana "Scottie" Scott- his love interest- leaving the firm. Of course this was despite the fact that he already had his name on the door when he was named partner.
So what can fans of the show expect in "Suits" season 4?
For starters, creators of the series have been working on a different plot that is equally interesting as the first three seasons.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, "Suits" creator Aaron Korsh revealed some juicy details of the series' newest season. He explained that viewers who watch the show because of the Harvey-Mike tandem would need to focus on something else instead, as the two will have a different working dynamic in season 4.
"The idea for us was to shake up the dynamic at the firm, but still keep Mike very present in our television universe."
"The way to do that was, if he leaves and goes and takes this job, but he's still a client at the firm. What it does is it allows for him to still interact with Harvey, but completely changes their dynamic," he added.
But will "Suits" fans ever see Mike Ross at the firm again?
"I wanted him [Mike] to take it and not undo it in short order. We're not finished [writing] Season 4, but we're into Season 4, and he's still gone," Aaron explained.
"Suits" season 4 will air on June 11, 2014.
