Lebron James and Miami Heat are this era's Michael Jordan and Chicago Bulls, according to vanquished Pacers coach Frank Vogel. This time, the undisputed best player of the game didn't shy away from the comparison and just acknowledged that he's humbled by it.

"It's bitterly disappointing to fall short of our goals, and it's bitterly disappointing to lose to this team three years in a row," Frank Vogel said after game 6 where his team was demolished by Lebron James and Miami Heat 117-92, per Sports Illustrated.

"But we're competing against the Michael Jordan of our era, the Chicago Bulls of our era," Frank Vogel added, who didn't shy away from the Lebron James and Michael Jordan comparison.

Lebron James and Miami Heat are the only team of the modern era since the 2000 Lakers, led by Shaquille O'Neal and a young Kobe Bryant, to reach the finals four consecutive times.

Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls won six titles together, including one magical season when the team almost became unstoppable winning 72 and losing just 10 games. Michael Jordan is arguably the greatest player of all time and certainly the greatest two-guard of all time.

In today's game, only Lebron James and Kobe Bryant are deemed worthy of the Michael Jordan comparison.

"Any time I hear my name or our team in the same breath with legends and great teams and franchises, it's so humbling, man," James said, talking about the Michael Jordan comparison.

"Me and (Heat star Dwyane Wade) grew up watching the great Chicago Bulls team and the great Michael Jordan and the rest of those guys," James added, in a report by ABC News.

When asked to describe the Michael Jordan comparison, he said "it's the ultimate."

"When you hear the comparisons, you respect it. You're humbled by it," Lebron James said.
