Anderson Silva is set for an early 2015 comeback in the UFC. Thid was personally confirmed by his manager Ed Soares.

"The Spider" last saw action at UC 168 in December 2013, in a rematch against reigning middleweight champion Chris Weidman, in an attempt to win back a title he has held for seven straight years.

Instead, the future UFC Hall-of-Famer suffered a broken leg after throwing a kick that was intelligently checked by Weidman. Since his injury, Anderson Silva has been on the shelves, with no apparent plans for a comeback.

But after six months of silence and rehabilitation, "The Spider's" camp eyes an early 2015 return to the UFC, through the confirmation of Soares.

"He's definitely coming back," Soares said in an interview with The MMA Hour. "He's feeling good, he's training hard. Everything is good, man. Hopefully we'll see him back."

"We won't see him back any earlier than the end of this year or, most likely, the beginning of next year," he confirmed.

Ed Soares' statements about Anderson Silva's comeback in 2015 dispels UFC president Dana White's own declarations that his most prized ward will be returning into action during the latter part of the year.

As for "The Spider's" next potential opponent, Soares has come up with a few names, including inactive UFC welterweight Nick Diaz who has expressed his desire to face Anderson Silva a number of times.

"There's Michael Bisping, there's Cung Le. Even Nick Diaz," Soares answered. "Nick Diaz has said he's wanted to fight him before. Nick Diaz wanted to box Roy Jones Jr. You could argue that Nick Diaz and Anderson probably have some of the best boxing in MMA, so we'll see what happens."

"Like we all know, so many things can change, the landscape of the sport can change so much in such a short amount of time," he added.
