Fans of the metal-clad superhero can't wait to hear the latest "Iron Man 4" rumors. There were different news coming out about the fourth installment, but one that got many people disappointed is the death of their favorite Marvel Comic character.

According to Movie Pilot, "Tony played by Robert Downey Jr. could be killed in Avengers: Age of Ultron as he has finished all his suits in Iron Man 3." However, new reports came out that another Iron Man movie will be released before 2018.

This is to give way to the "Avengers 3" where Robert Downey Jr. returns as Tony Stark. According to Marvel Movies wikia, this will also be the last time that the 49-year old actor will portray the iconic role of Tony Stark.

By 2018, Robert will be 53 years old and even the actor knows that he can't do the same role forever. He told The Edge, "The smart money is you have to look at everybody's age." Robert explained, "I'll put myself at the top of the list. Sooner or later, they've got to start over and get somebody young. I'm not there with them yet."

Since Robert Downey Jr. is all set to hand over his role, "Iron Man 4" rumors about the new Tony Stark has been talked about. Movie Pilot came up with its own poll wherein fans chose among a list of actors who they want to play as the new billionaire playboy.

And the winner of the "Iron Man 4" casting is Colin Farrell! The 38-year old actor is not really that young, but he is 11 years younger than Robert which means he can still play Tony Stark for several more years.

What Culture also did its own list of eight actors that can replace The Avengers original cast. The website also chose Colin Farrell to play Iron Man. According to them, "Farrell has a strong resemblance to Downey's Stark, filling out a suit nicely and working a very similar hair style."

The website added, "He also proved in In Bruges that he can spit out the rapid-fire quick-wit dialogue as good as anyone. Though it would be tough getting used to the intonations and inflections of a new Iron Man, if Marvel were going to make the best of it, they would cast Farrell."

How do you feel about the "Iron Man 4" rumors? Do you have other actors in mind to play as the new Tony Stark?
