Angelina Jolie's movie 'Maleficent' did very well in the box office in China and the actress is currently in Shanghai promoting the film. She also talked about possibly playing with Cleopatra and also commented on Brad Pitt's recent attack on the red carpet.

Angelina Jolie spoke to the Chinese press at Shanghai's art deco Peninsula hotel. When asked what her next role would be, Jolie hinted that she might be back as the villain in Maleficent.

"It's kind of hard to top her, she was pretty fun. Maybe I'll get the chance to play her again," said the 'Lara Croft' actress.

Jolie was asked by BBC Radio 5 about playing Cleopatra. Jolie explained that the Cleopatra project still in development. She also explained that she finds acting the least challenging and inspiring of all her jobs.

Jolie said, "It's one of those that you feel like well, maybe that's the one you put everything into and that's where you end it, that's where you finish. In a great way, what could you do beyond that one?"

The 'Maleficent' star directed the upcoming 'Unbroken,' her second film as a director, and she has spoken of her desire to act less and direct more.

Jolie said, "I'm very happy to begin a directing career. I didn't know if I'd be able to successfully make this change. I love telling stories. You learn so much about life. In my case, both films I've done so far deal with history, so it's a very full experience, and you work very closely with the crew. So I love directing, and I would like to direct more. I think I'd like to do less acting and more directing, and I'm fortunate."

She was also asked about how Brad Pitt handled being attacked on the red carpet the other day. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Jolie and Pitt will not be tightening their security.

First Jolie wanted to clarify that the incident would not affect how she interacts with fans, saying, "People like that are an exception to the rule. Most fans are just wonderful. We've had a wonderful experience over the years, and we're very grateful for their support, and it will not change the way we behave."

She also said that her longtime love Pitt is a "strong man" who handled himself "perfectly."
