Bad news Marvel fans, directors Rawson Thurber (We're the Millers) and Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) left the Ant-Man movie due to other commitments.

According to reports from This is infamous, Rawson Thurber declined the offer of the Ant-Man, while AICN claimed that he wasn't offered for the job in the first place.

As for Fleischer, Screenrant reports that he was offered to direct Ghostbusters 3 instead.

With two directors leaving the project, this presented a dilemma for Marvel Studios. But luckily there is a silver lining to all of this as Marvel is in talks with two new directors: Nicholas Stoller (Neighbors) and Michael Dowse (Goon).

According to reports from Deadline, Stoller and Dowse have been making rounds in directing the Ant-Man movie as the website quoted that:

"As for 'Ant-Man,' Marvel has gone radio silent after heated press reports that Adam McKay would direct, and then equally heated reports a day later that he wasn't going to do it after all. Right now, the favorite is 'Dodgeball' and 'We're The Millers' helmer Rawson Thurber, but names like Nicholas Stoller and Michael Dowse are also making the rounds."

But, reports from Collider claimed that Stoller is not running for the project and that the entire information could be old or inaccurate. Further evidence were shown to support the claim is that Stoller is working on a new comedy film starring Kevin Hart and Seth Rogen.

As for Thurber, Marvel has been interested on him because of his experience with comedies and action flicks such as "Take Me Home Tonight", "Goon"and his latest movie "What If".

So who would Marvel Studios pick to direct Ant-Man the movie?
