Katy Perry may still be dating Diplo! The 'Dark Horse' singer and Diplo confirmed that they are still together after posting photos on their respective Instagrams lounging in the same hammock.
The 'Roar' singer and the DJ/producer had been rumored to be in a relationship for quite some time, but then reports surfaced that they had split in May.
"Swaying on the hammock under mango trees, fresh freckles on my face, everything irie," Katy captioned her Hammock photo. Diplo eventually deleted his photo from his Instagram.
Perry played four shows in London in the last week of May, and is now on hiatus until June 22, when she will hit the road again for the North American leg of her tour.
Earlier this year, In Touch Weekly reported that Diplo called time on their romance when it became clear that they "wanted different things."
"Diplo broke up with her because she does not want to be in a serious relationship," a friend of Perry's told the publication. "She's doing OK and not too sad about it. They wanted different things."
According to the friend, Perry also 'freaked out' when Diplo wanted to introduce her to his parents.
"She doesn't want to get married again - at least not anytime soon/ She wants to date and he wanted something much more serious. It was too much, too soon."
While another source close to the songstress insists Katy was 'really into him', they cite the demands of their careers as a factor in their split, saying Diplo thought the situation wasn't "fair"
Perry is on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine's July issue, where she opens up about her past relationships. The 'Roar' singer also admitted that she does not have rules when it comes to sex. "I'm not like Professor Higgins with my sex life: I'm not super strict. For me, the most important thing about sex is connection."
Moreover, Katy Perry revealed the longest she has ever gone without sex and insisted that she would never have a one-night stand. "Maybe six months or a year. I don't stay single for long. I carry a lot of rose quartz, which attracts the male. Maybe I need to calm it down with the amethyst."
