"X-Men: Days of Future Past" Halle Berry Gabriel Aubrey news has a new update. She must pay her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry $16,000 a month in child support for their 6-year-old daughter, Nahla.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon ruled on May 30 that Berry, 47, must also pay Aubry a $115,000 retroactive payment, as well as $300,000 legal fees for their custody dispute, The Associated Press reported Monday.
The former couple will split their daughter's health care expenses but Berry, currently starring in "X-Men: Days of Future Past," will pay Nahla's school tuition. The child-support payments will continue until Nahla turns 19 years old or graduates from high school, whichever comes first.
Berry and Aubry, 38, a French-Canadian model, had reached a shared custody agreement in 2012, with the actress agreeing to pay Aubry child support. The court also ruled then that she could not move Nahla to France, where her then-fiancé Olivier Martinez, 48, had been living, unless Aubry moved there as well. Though never married, Berry and Aubry were together from 2005 to 2010.
Berry, who is filming her new CBS series "Extant" in Los Angeles, and Martinez, who had a recurring role on ABC's "Revenge," announced their engagement in 2012 and were married in July 2013. Their son Maceo was born that Oct. 6.
Berry wed baseball player David Justice shortly after midnight on Jan. 1, 1993, but they later divorced; she later married and divorced singer Eric Benét. The previously unmarried Martinez had lived with actress Juliette Binoche in the mid-1990s, and was with Australian singer Kylie Minogue from 2003 to 2007, including during her battle with breast cancer.
Court documents filed May 30 state that Berry's reported gross income for nine months leading up to Sept. 30, 2012, was nearly $4.7 million, while Aubry's gross-expense income totaled $192,921 for the 12 months ending Oct. 31, 2012.
Not bad, but his Oscar-winning ex made significantly more.
