Keira Knightley says a wedding "seemed like a fun thing to do" and also spoke about giving herself a $50,000 budget to Glamour magazine.

Knightley said, "When James proposed, I just thought, 'Well, never done that before. It seemed like a fun thing to do." The "Begin Again" actress married James Righton in a small, intimate wedding in May 2013.

In her latest movie, musical romance Begin Again, the Anna Karenina star plays Greta, Adam Levine's character's girlfriend.

"With a feel-good film you are always risking going way too cheesy," Knightley said, "But maybe I can have a little holiday where I'm not playing a character who is being destroyed."

Knightley said of Levine's acting debut, "He did play a d-ckhead very well. Actually, I admire him being so willing. To play a d-ckhead is quite a big thing when you are trying to break into film and you want to be likable."

The 29-year-old actress also talked about giving herself a budget of $50,000.

Knightley said, "Yes, it's something around that. I mean, if I want or need something that goes over that, I get it, but, yes, around that. I think living an [expensive] lifestyle means you can't hang out with people who don't live that lifestyle. It alienates you. Some of my best, most hilarious times have been in the least luxurious places."

"There are those who manage that time of their lives really well-doing a lot of partying and making a lot of mistakes and thinking the world is only there for you, but I was way too introverted, and there was always this s--tload of photographers, who made it worse," Knightley said of her twenties. "When I hit 25, for some reason I didn't care anymore-I allowed myself to chill out. Since then, everything's been amazing."
