Ed Sheeran's Famous Friends: British Singer Mentions Having Drinks With Richard Madden! Admits He's A “Game Of Thrones Guy”

British acoustic singer Ed Sheeran talked about his famous friends in an in an interview with E! Online on Tuesday. He also casually mentioned plans for a drink with King of the North Richard Madden after the interview.

The "Everything Has Changed" singer has been sharing his love for HBO TV series "Game of Thrones" in interviews and his social media accounts. He even posted a photo of himself wearing a shirt with a spoof of the Stark's house symbol on Instagram. The shirt had "Ginger Is Coming" instead of the original Stark motto, adding in a caption of "I got allota love for this shirt."

When E! Online hosts Jason Kennedy and Jesse Giddings asked him to choose between TV and movies in a game, Sheeran picked the former, saying that TV has been producing a lot of quality series nowadays. He admitted to being a "Game Of Thrones guy" aside from having friendly connections with the show's stars. According to an interview with MTV, he wants to guest in the hit series as well.

The self confessed "Game Of Thrones" fanboy is not alone in his fascination. Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark, tweeted her excitement for the singer's new album, "Multiply," coming out on June 23. Sheeran sent her a quirky reply which the starlet retweeted right away.

Kennedy and Giddings also mentioned Sheeran's other famous friends like Taylor Swift, Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston, who he had Thanksgiving with.The famous singer has been posting selfies with his Hollywood A-listers on his Instagram as well.

Just recently, the British singer-songwriter collaborated with Pharell for the new single "Sing."

Despite having famous friends, the 23-year-old British singer insists he has school buddies as well. He hangs out with ordinary people and stalks Instagram and Twitter accounts like any normal person, too.

He admits to approaching Hollywood parties differently though, where he likes to just enjoy himself and, "You know, make stories that I can tell in 20 years and be like, 'That happened one time, that was pretty fun.'"
