Obviously, this match against Argentina and Iran is definitely significant for the two teams. For Argentina, this could be their ride towards the Round of 16 Knockout, and for Iran, this could be their last shot at the tournament.

While their individual intentions are pretty recognizable, the outcome of the game is pretty clear, too.

The Argentinian team recently just won from their opener against Bosnia and Herzegovina, ending it at 2-1, thanks to star player Lionel Messi and Sead Kolansinac.

However, their performance in the game could be labelled only as considerable, as they are named a favourite in Group F, even as Dark Horses in the tournament. Messi, a star player even in the Barcelona uniform, looked not as magnificent, but still managed to goal on his first match in the 2014 World Cup.

The Argentines possessed the ball more frequently than Bosnia and Herzegovina, at 59-41 percent. Only 2 out of 11 shots were turned into scores. Argentina, who are now mostly addressed as the Golden Boys, would need much improvement for them to live up to their fans' expectations.

But their skills now are more than enough to beat Iran.

Iran, on the other hand, had the worst snooze fest with Nigeria at 0-0. They still haven't won a game in the World Cup for sixteen years since 1998. The game was more pitiful than entertaining.

However, their coach, Carlos Quieroz begs to differ. "It was a game that I need to praise my players, they deserve to be congratulated. We kept the team in the tournament and now we have Argentina. The most important thing is that everything is open for us."

The odds are in favour of Argentina now, obviously. If Iran played like they did before with Nigeria, they will be humiliated. In fact, if they even scored a point against the Dark Horses, Quieroz would say it is another dream come true.
