George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin's wedding is just around the corner. The couple is reportedly planning an Italian marriage ceremony set for September. The long time bachelor did not make an official announcement about who his best man will be but if Clooney's aunt is to be believed, he has already selected an A-list actor buddy to be his best man.
According to Daily Mail, Clooney's Aunt Staria said she's pretty certain Brad Pitt will do the honors.
"I would say he'd choose Brad Pitt for his best man," Staria, who is married to Clooney's paternal uncle Joe Clooney, said. "They are good friends, I would think that's who he'd choose."
Brides reported that many expect that Rande Gerber, Cindy Crawford's husband who happened to be Clooney's business partner and neighbour would serve as best man. But Pitt "also makes a lot of sense. The handsome pals starred in the Oceans films together, and are known to trade barbs and pranks on a regular basis."
As for the wedding location, Clooney's Aunt Staria spilled some beans according to Hollywood life.
"I did hear Cincinnati, since it's not that far from Kentucky - that's one of the places they were considering - but apparently Cincinnati didn't win, it's not going to be the place," she revealed. Staria then hinted that Italy may be in the running. "I do know that Nick and Nina [George's parents] are planning a trip over to Italy in the next week or so to, I guess, scope out some stuff."
Clooney, 52, and Alamuddin were first photographed stepping out together in London in October. The two have since been spotted go on board on romantic trips including a trip to Tanzania in March, where they were photographed getting cozy during a safari, and they also visited the Seychelles. The couple got engaged April of this year.
