Kristen Stewart is suing Joan Rivers over her joke about the "Twilight" star's affair with Rupert Sanders, as comedian and "Fashion Police" host promised to bring puppet to court.

The website TMZ was the first to report that Kristen Stewart is suing Joan Rivers for the joke she wrote in her book "Diary of a Mad Diva" which reads: "Many stars only do one thing well. Of course, the best one-trick-pony is Kristen Stewart, who got a whole career by being able to juggle a director's balls."

However, the comedian pooh-poohed the reported lawsuit as she told TMZ that Kristen Stewart probably didn't read the disclaimer which says it's a comedy book.

"I can't wait to get her into court because I'm gonna get a puppet and I want her to show me on the puppet where she thinks I claim she touched her director. I am looking forward to it," she said.

Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders canoodling, and even making out, were snapped and the photos surfaced in the tabloids and mainstream media while the two were filming "Snow White and the Huntsman."

According to a report by RadarOnline back in February, Rupert Sanders is still in love with Kristen Stewart and hopes to rekindle their romance. As a result of their affair, actress Liberty Ross divorced Rupert Sanders after 12 years of marriage.

"They are still in contact, and incredibly, Rupert is still hoping for a future together," the source told the website. "He fell in love with her a long time before he laid a finger on her."

Now, Kristen Stewart is suing Joan Rivers as the 81-year-old said, "Her lawyer contacted my lawyer, which shows the sense of humor she has."

"My answer to her was, 'Be glad you're not a Kardashian because they're mentioned a lot more in the book' ... I'm a comedian. I've been doing it for 50 years. If people don't get it, then don't come and see me. It's okay. Don't read the book. If you're gonna take it seriously, you're a fool."
