Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag were back to the small screen on June 24 with their appearance on ABC's hit program, Celebrity Wife Swap. Heidi is a huge fan of the show, so when they had the opportunity to be in it, they jumped right on it.

Heidi was excited about being able to be her real self on television for the first time. She took a punch at reports that her first reality television project The Hill was scripted.

According to Heidi, "My mom saw the preview and she told me, 'I can tell this is the first opportunity that you've ever had to be you.' It's just great to have that moment. It was really fun to just be more authentic and be in a situation and see what happens."

Heidi traded places with the four times Olympian Amanda Beard. She swapped her laid-back, Southern California beach lifestyle to Beard's rural area of Washington State. The Beards have two young children, Heidi immediately fell in love with Doone Isla, 9 months and Blaise Ray, 4 and a half years old.

Heidi and Spencer are confronted by a challenge in controlling their lavish spending. Reportedly, the couple spent $10 million during their days on MTV's "The Hills." They supposedly spent at least $500.000 for Spencer's infamous crystal collection. However, Heidi is hoping that Spencer consider Amanda's advice, to let go of the crystals in exchange of children's toys.

Heidi said, "I think that would be awesome," she added, "In Amanda's house with the kids, she can't even have crystals around because they're so fragile and they get knocked over. I was thinking, when we have kids, we'll have to make sure that they're not everywhere!' But Spencer can definitely enjoy them around the house for now."

With children in mind, Heidi fixed her relationship with her own mother, which was strained after the exposure of Heidi's multiple plastic surgeries in 2010.
