Rumors started spreading last year that teen heartthrobs, One Direction, will have their own reality TV show.

It looks like the rumors are turning out to be accurate as new reports have suggested that the boy band has already started filming episodes for the show.

The show will be patterned after The Wanted's reality show on E!

Simon Cowell was first to confirm the news in an interview in February. He shared that he was then currently talking to some producers about a possible One Direction TV series.

This was later on seconded by an article on OneDirection.net stating that the lads have indeed started filming.

A source told the website:

"We've already filmed a few small bits of the band working on their fourth album, but there's still a lot of work to be done."

"The band break from the Where We Are tour mid-July after finishing the European leg, and we're doing the main block of filming before they fly to America," they said.

Furthermore, the source also revealed that Cowell is pushing for a late 2014 premiere to coincide with the launch of the band's fourth album.

There are also rumors suggesting that One Direction will have a follow up film to their 2013 "This Is Us" movie. Although there have been no official confirmation about the said rumor, fans continue to talk about it online.

The band was spotted filming in several locations. Although some suspect that it will be used for their DVD release or for "The X Factor," many believe that it will be used for their new show.

One Direction was seen filming in London and in South America this year.
