Manny Pacquiao news features Amir Khan's intent to face "Pacman" before 2014 ends.

"King Khan" spoke to The National, in a report by Philippine news outlet ABS-CBN about his desire to face his former sparring partner under Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles.

"We are both fighting next in November or December, so everything is perfect for us to fight," Khan said speaking about the Manny Pacquiao news. "It's speed, explosiveness and entertainment from both fighters, and that is what fans want from boxing right now."

Amir Khan, who is currently fighting under Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions, is optimistic about his chances of getting the said fight, considering the truce with rival promotion company Top Rank its head honcho, Bob Arum.

"Oscar De La Hoya and Bob Arum have put their differences aside and they want to work together and co-promote fights in the future and why not an Amir Khan and Manny Pacquiao fight to do that?" Khan continued. "We have a good history together; we both were trained by Freddie Roach, we sparred together hundreds of times, we are friends.

Manny Pacquiao news also reveals that the Filipino boxer will have his next fight in Macau, China, the same place where his comeback fight against Brandon Rios in November 2013 was held.

While Amir Khan says that he is willing to face "Pacman" anywhere, any time, he has one particular place in mind.

"I think because of our fan bases, Dubai would be the perfect location, but if I'm being honest, the officials there are not fully ready to host a boxing event of this magnitude," Khan said. "Every boxer wants to fight in Dubai, but it's not happening."

At 35-years of age, Manny Pacquiao has managed to maintain his status as one of the best boxers in the world today. He is still ranked No. 4 at RingTV's pound-for-pound rankings.

But for Amir Khan, "Pacman" has lost a step or two.

"Manny is slowing down," he said. "As we have seen in his past three fights, he is not the same Manny."
