Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's relationship may have affected her friendship with her "13 Going on 30" co-star Matt Ruffalo. "The Avengers" actor revealed that his friendship with the "Alias" star stopped when the "Argo" actor Ben Affleck came into the picture.
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have recently celebrated their nine years of marriage.
It was in 2004 when "13 Going 30" co-stars Jennifer Garner and Matt Rufallo starred at the hit comedy romantic film but the "The Avengers" star said their friendship came into a halt when the "Alias" star started dating Ben Affleck.
Matt Ruffalo appeared with "Begin Again" co-star Keira Knightley in "Watch What Happens Live" on Thursday when a fan asked him if he kept in touch with his former-co-star.
Matt Ruffalo shook his head and admitted that they have not kept in touch for ten years since the movie was released, the US Magazine said.
"We had a great time together, and I think we would, but then Ben [Affleck] came on the scene and that was the end of that," Matt Ruffalo said.
Jennifer Garner and Matt Ruffalo played as childhood friends turned lovers in the hit romantic comedy film "13 Going on 30" in 2004 but their friendship never lasted because of husband Ben Affleck who then dated the actress.
The same year "13 Going on 30" was released, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's relationship started and got married in June the year after. They have three children together-daughters Violet, 8, Seraphina, 5, and only son Samuel, 2.
The TV host Andy Cohen even quipped, "I heard he doesn't allow her to have male friends" but quickly joked "I made that up!"
Looking a bit serious, "The Avengers" actor Matt Ruffalo just shrugged his shoulder and said that it was "sad" that he had not kept in touch with former co-star Jennifer Garner, Fox News said.
"The Avengers" actor Matt Ruffalo has been married to actress Sunrise Coigney since 2000 and they also have three beautiful children.
