Novak Djokovic is a Serbian professional tennis player who recently took home the Wimbledon trophy. He referred to his win over Roger Federer as the "most special" of his career. This win highlights the 27-year-old athlete's seventh Grand Slam title. Now that he had moved past the six titles of Boris Becker, his head coach in the beginning of 2014, Djokovic perhaps surpassed his opponent's coach, Stefan Edberg, as well. Surely, this win over the greatest tennis player is the highlight of his career.

"It's the most special Grand Slam final I've played," he said. "At this time of my career for this Grand Slam trophy to arrive is crucial, especially after losing several Grand Slam finals in a row." he added. "I started doubting a little bit. I needed this win a lot. I'm going to try to use it in the best possible way and for my confidence to grow for the rest of my season and the rest of my career."

At this point, Djokovic seems to be shaping up and starting to standout within their impressive group of players. The athlete is at the peak of his prime which is certainly an advantage given that tennis is a sport where age has become a gain.

"Roger played very well, in a very high level. He showed why he's a champion. He showed a fighting spirit, composure in important moments when he was a break down."

Djokovic will regain his ranking on Monday. Nevertheless, now that Wimbledon tournament is through, his focus will shift on his fiancée and the arrival of their first child.
