Miley Cyrus made it a point to celebrate 4th of July with a bang. Not only did the "Wrecking Ball" singer posed for a series of topless photos via Instagram, she also surprised - or shocked -- her fans with her latest Floyd tattoo.
The 21-year-old "Bangerz" singer celebrated Independence Day with a bunch of her friends and they all got a tattoo of the late dog somewhere close to the side of their boob, according to Hollywood Life.
One photo featured Cyrus with two other friends showing off their newest Floyd-inspired tattoo. The singer wrote, "#housepartygreentonguefloydtats @waynecoyne5 @katyweaver #withalittlehelpfrommyfwends," E! News revealed.
Cyrus' latest tattoo also comes with a the same statement taken off of The Beatles song of the same title.
To some of her fans, Cyrus' love and loyalty to Floyd is remarkable but others expressed their disbelief at the singer's choice of ink, not really because it was of Floyd, but because it didn't necessarily look like him.
Twitter user @CurlaaayDeee wrote, "Miley Cyrus new tattoo looks like a pig not a dog." @AlexaBrown471 tweeted, ""Floyd tat" miley instagrams where you can't see the tattoo at all aka mostly boob."
Other than her new ink, Cyrus also shocked fans Flaming Lips front man Wayne Coyne shared a photo of Cyrus puffing from a joint that was being held by a man wearing a unicorn head, the Daily Mail reported.
He wrote, "Finally at Cyrus's place with rainbow unicorn passing a joint." Coyne and Cyrus recently collaborated on a series of songs originally sung by The Beatles including "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds."
Meanwhile, despite the "We Can't Stop" singer's recent heartbreak following the death of Floyd, who was attacked by a coyote back in April, Cyrus admitted that she's now ready to take care of a new puppy.
Last week, the "Hannah Montana" star welcomed a Rough Collie into her life and named him Emu Coyne Cyrus.
