The 2014 NBA Free Agency gives nothing but tremendous excitement to NBA fans as they hope that their respective teams land a marquee free agent this off season, such as The Big Three of Miami.

There's real trouble in South Beach as the Miami Heat are suddenly exposed as a team that's not good enough to beat the supposedly aging San Antonio Spurs. This, along with the retirement of key players Shane Battier and possibly Ray Allen, could make LeBron James and even Chris Bosh to re-think their options.

Recent reports indicate that no agreement were made during a meeting between LeBron, Pat Riley and the Miami Heat management.

Also, From the Real GM blog, the dark horse for the King is named:

"Let me throw out another name: The Houston Rockets. First off, the Rockets finding the capspace to sign Lebron straight out is not hard to envision. It'd take simply moving Jeremy Lin and Omer Asik off next year's books to create near-maximum cap space. If for some reason finding a taker for those talented players is not simple, the Rockets have other assets to sweeten the deal such as Terrence Jones, Donatas Motiejunas, Patrick Beverly, draft picks, etc. And of course even if it came down to it, if it took packaging even Chandler Parsons in a deal to create capspace for Lebron to join James Harden and Dwight Howard, well the choice there is simple. When added to the likelihood somebody would want Lin or Asik anyways, the Rockets should have little obstacles putting themselves in Lebron-signing position if he wanted it.

The question thus is whether Lebron would sign there. The incentive is clear. Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh are heading into their 11th seasons next year, Wade's body is a physical mess. Even if the team makes it to the Finals for the 4th straight year, how many years do these guys have left where they can contend? Not to mention Lebron is aging himself and increasingly carrying the team wouldn't help."

In Game 4, which Miami lost to the Spurs right at their homecourt, LeBron was visibly strained as he tried to carry the team on his back. There was hardly any support from the other two 'Big Three' members. It looked similar to his Cleveland days-right before he bolted to Miami to look for some help.

That has been proven before-LeBron bails on a sinking ship, and the Heat looks like its best days are behind them. Houston, on the other hand, has Dwight Howard at 28 and James Harden made the All-NBA team before his 25th birthday. LeBron with those two could spell disaster for the other teams.
