The developers at DICE and Electronic Arts anounces its upcoming series of events for its widely known first person shooter , Battlefield 4, Battlefest. The event is intended to bring rewards to players while motivating them to participate in the contests as well as to the latest in-game content.
The official announcement states that the event is more like a token of gratitude and commitment to the players of Battlefield 4 and to the game itself. Additionally, DICE, Stockholm and LA continues to work on enhancing gameplay experience, add new initiatives like the CTE environment, as well as to develop two expansion packs.
On July 12 and 13, gamers who will be playing Battlefield 4 in multiplayer will get twice the experience. This gives them a great incentive to log back in this game.
The team at DICE is also introducing a daily contest called Battleshots, which is to encourage players to send screenshots from the title on a given theme. The winning entry will get an AMD graphics card, 50 dollars or Euro as a gift to spend in the official DICE store, and a Premium membership service for Battlefield 4.
As part of Battlefest, the studio is also introducing free camo unlocks, which will be offered weekly to gamers, and double XP at certain points. Gamers will also get a community-based mission with a special goal that will unlock a free gold Battlepack weekly for all players when achieved.
The first of them will be activated on July 15, once Battlfield 4: Dragon's Teeth downloadable content is launched for Premium members, and will prompt gamers to get to 15 million revives in Battlefield 4 across all platforms before the end of July 20.
The final activity is linked to video clips. DICE adds that this is a month long contest where it invites gamers to send their best stunt video that can be done in Battlefield 4. The DICE team will pick the top 12 and then the fans will vote on the top three winners to win a massive prize. More details about the Battlefest events will come, as DICE seeks to thank gamers who are supporting the shooter.
