The Rise of the Tomb Raider Release date has been confirmed!

E3 2014 was first thought as a disappointment and an afterthought due to its lackluster day 1. What many did not expect was there were plenty of surprises and revelations in the next days! The Expo can now be considered as one of the best and most memorable E3 ever. Gameplay of most anticipated and gamers would love to get our hands on like Far Cry 4, Grand Theft Auto 5 for the Next-Gen consoles and more. Gamers also saw a lot of games being announced like Uncharted 4: The Thief's End, LittleBigPlanet 3, etc.

Rise of the Tomb Raider was one of the newly announced games at E3. No one expected this announcement and it many were simply astounded. Looking at the reveal trailer, gamers saw Lara transforming from a relic hunter who loved to uncover ancient secrets and artifacts in ancient tombs but after experiencing the horrors of the island in Tomb Raider, forced her to become a braver version of herself. The new Lara Croft did not let anything get in her way and she did whatever it takes to unravel the truth.

Some news regarding the Rise of the Tomb Raider is already out. It appears that the Rise of the Tomb Raider will be a cross-gen title; which means that the game will be available for the Next-Gen consoles as well as the Last-Gen consoles. The rumor of the Rise of the Tomb Raider being developed for Last-Gen consoles was put to rest when Amazon listed Rise of the Tomb Raider for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 alongside the Next-Gen consoles.

Many people thought that the Last-Gen consoles will die out in 2015 but developers have stayed true to their promise and are still developing games for the Last-Gen consoles.

Gaming news site Cyberland has reported that the Rise of the Tomb Raider release date is on May 2015 and it will be available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
