Cleveland Cavaliers fans are not the only ones rejoicing right now. Houston Rockets fans can now celebrate as well as they will soon acquire another Superstar for three consecutive years in Chris Bosh.
Adrian Wojnarowski has the latest news:
Miami Heat star Chris Bosh made his desire known, saying he would like to get a multiyear max contract and the Rockets can easily comply to his demand.
ESPN's Brian Windhorst and Chris Broussard report that Bosh's decision hinges entirely on one man, who has finally made his decision:
"If James does choose to leave the Heat, free agent Chris Bosh will sign with the Houston Rockets, sources said. James not rushing to make a choice could put a time squeeze on Bosh. Though he hopes to remain with the Heat along with James, sources said, Bosh has secured a backup offer for four years and $88 million from the Rockets."
If Bosh ultimately chooses to sign with the Rockets, analysts said that it would be the perfect Big 3.
CBSSports.com's Matt Moore adds:
"Bosh would be a tremendous fit in Houston. He pairs expertly with Dwight Howard as a pick-and-roll-defending stretch-four who could balance the Rockets' offense and work as a pick and pop partner with James Harden. He would instantly help form one of the best defensive frontcourts in the league with their ability to defend all over the court, and give them a veteran who has no discernible injury issues and an attitude that wouldn't clash with Harden or Howard."
