Dakota Fanning is known for her character in Uptown Girls when she was a child star. And now, she stars in one of the anticipated movie for 2014 titled 'Very Good Girls' alongside with Elizabeth Olsen.
According to PasteMagazine, Fanning's new film also comes as the directorial debut of screenwriters Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal’s mom Naomi Foner. The movie boasts a soundtrack by Jenny Lewis.
The film focus on classic coming-of-age dilemmas through the eyes and escapades of two best friends. It also features a pretty impressive casts including Elizabeth Olsen, Demi Moore, Richard Dreyfuss and more. From the same source, the movie is expected to hit theaters on July 25.
According to other reliable source Bustle, Fanning played the role of Lily who is a Yale-bound titular “good girl,” who will make a crappy summer job with the help of her best friend Gerry (played by Elizabeth Olsen).
The two friends make a pact to lose their virginities before they split for school. However, the good friends develop crushes on a hunky ice cream vendor-cum-artist (played by Boyd Holbrook), which lead them to complicated situations.
Bustle said that even though the film casts are noteworthy players including Ellen Barkin, Demi Moore, Peter Sarsgaard, Richard Dreyfuss, Clark Gregg, it is still Fanning who gets the limelight and steals the show.
