Chandler Parsons, one of the major players in Dwight Howard's recruitment to the Houston Rockets last season, is now leaving for Dallas. Not that he wanted to, but the Rockets decided not to match the 3 yr, $46 million offer sheet proposed by Dallas.

Adrian Wojnarowski has the latest news:

Chandler Parsons tweeted out his thanks to the Rockets organization:

With Chandler Parsons, Jeremy Lin, and Omer Asik gone and also getting nothing in return, the Houston Rockets management looks like they are not living up to the expectations they presented center Dwight Howard when they were still recruiting him. They promised him a "win now" team, but the roster apparently looks a lot weaker now. Nothing against the Trevor Ariza signing, but Chandler Parsons brings so much to the table, not only for the All-Star level production, but he is also touted to be a great leader and locker room presence.

It is also worth noting that Dwight Howard gave Chandler Parsons a Ferrari as a gift. Obviously, there is a deep connection between the two.
