Blink-182 fans rejoice! It's official-the band is coming out with a new album. In typical Blink-182 fashion, Tom DeLonge, the band's guitarist and vocalist confirmed the news on his Instagram account, as he posted a hilarious throwback photo of himself and his band mates, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker.

The What's My Age Again singer wrote, "Rehearsals start today... And yes there will be a new album #SorryForTheWait #Blink"

Drummer Travis Barker also snapped a photo of himself playing the drums, and captioning it with various hashtags #RehearsalLife #BLINK #EuropeanTour #NobodycaresGoharder.

Blink-182 has gone through many ups and downs throughout their career. The members parted ways in 2005 to work on solo projects, and in 2008, Travis Barker was a passenger in a fatal plane crash in South Carolina. He survived, but has developed a fear of flying since. Then, after 4 years of being apart, Blink-182 decided to reunite in 2009.

The news of the new album comes three years after the band's last studio album, "Neighborhoods", released in 2011. It was also the year when the band split from their former label, Interscope. They then self-produced an EP called "Dogs Eating Dogs" in 2012.

As of now, there are very few details about the new record, although the band has steadily appeared on some international tours over the past 18 months. Blink-182 participated in the Soundwave Festival held in various cities in Australia, without drummer Travis Barker who was absent due to his trauma of flying.

Meanwhile, you can catch the trio in Europe next month, where they will be playing several shows in different countries. They'll also be headlining the 2014 Reading and Leeds Festival in the U.K. Or you can play their old records-their album, "Enema of the State" celebrates its 15th year since its release.
