Nobody has seen such an aggressive move in the summer league, as the one made by Nerlens Noel. Before the summer league, Noel has only played last in a formal competition in February 2013. Seeing Noel active in court is a bonus for Philly 76ers fans.
Noel had to undergo multiple struggles in life prior to the previous year's draft. He lost his ACL, and weighed in at a whopping 218 pounds. This scared the fans all the more, given the fact that he's a projected center in the team.
Noel has never showed the image of an offender player in the one and a half year he spent in a team in Kentucky. This has been such the case, despite Noel showing great rim protector potential.
All of these factors contributed to Noel peaking in at number 6 in the NBA draft list, despite expectations from fans he would make it to the number one pick.
Noel has not been recovering from a knee surgery so far, despite the surgery occurring 18 months ago. This stopped him from achieving the best potential as he struggled to limp on his foot sometimes.
Scoring in an offensive obviously, has not been a specialty of Noel's. He was never able to achieve the 20-point mark, even once, in the 24 games he's played in college so far.
Noel is skilled in scoring a defense, stopping shots and collecting steals. So far, in the four games he was in, he was able to stop 13 shots, and gained nine steals.
