"Game of Thrones" season 5 news updates point to five new directors who will helm 10 episodes of the series next year. Meanwhile, Kristian Nairn, the man who plays Hodor, will showcase his DJ skills as he plans tours in August and September.

The fansite, WinterIsComing, revealed "Game of Thrones" season 5 news when it reported that Alex Graves and Alik Sakharov were booted out of the series. Showrunners David Benioff and DB Weiss have also begged off from directing future episodes.

Instead, Michael Slovis, Mark Mylod, Jeremy Podeswa, Miguel Sapochnik and David Nutter were tapped to direct 10 of the episodes in "Game of Thrones" season 5.

Michael Slovis, who will direct the premiere and second episode, has plenty of experience helming complicated episodes as he used to direct episodes of "Breaking Bad" and "Law & Order: SVU.

The credits of Mark Mylod, who will director episodes three and four, include "Shameless" over at Showtime and HBO's very own "Entourage."

Jeremy Podeswa, who will helm episodes five and six, used to direct "Boardwalk Empire" and "The Tudors. Miguel Sapochnik (episodes seven and eight) hone his craft directing episodes of "House" and "Fringe."

David Nutter, according to InsideTV, is "known as 'the pilot whisperer' for his track record in getting pilots picked up to series." He directed the "Rains of Castamere" episode, "A Man Without Honor" and "The Old Gods and the New."

He also directed the pilot episodes of "Arrow," "Chase," "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" and "Eastwick."

In other "Game of Thrones" season 5 news, Kristian Nairn, who will reprise his role as Hodor next year, has scheduled a tour for his Rave of Thrones show in August and September, according to Sydney Morning Herald.

"Apparently the shows will be 'some of the most anticipated gatherings since the beheading of the Hand,' according to the publication, referring to the first season when Ned Stark was decapitated.
