Henry Cavill girlfriend Gina Carano is Ronda Rousey's dream fight. The bantamweight defending champion publicly declares that a match with Carano is "something that she has wanted since the first time she laid eyes on the sport." ESPN reported that a title fight between the two would mean big business for the UFC. The same publication reported that Carano will be meeting with UFC President Dana White and UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta this week.

The UFC executives are anticipating adding Carano to the UFC roster after inking former boxer Holly Holm. White and Lorenzo are flying to Los Angeles to sit with the former Strikeforce champ.

"One down, one to go," White told ESPN last week. "I'm going to meet with Gina next week and get that f***ing thing done. Next week, man. It's just a matter of me and Lorenzo going to jump on a plane to Los Angeles, get in a room with her and her lawyer and get this thing done."

White has been open about the difficulty in negotiating with Carano's lawyers. It was reported last month that contract talks with Carano had been stalled. According to Wrestling Inc, earlier this year, the UFC appeared confident to sign Carano but recently report says that might not be the case.

Fox Sports reported that Rousey "will be undergoing surgery to have her knee and hand fixed." Carano, on the other hand, has not fought for five years. Reportedly, many fans and experts believe that if Carano will return to MMA, she should be given a "quick title shot."

Rousey said, "I think it would be the best thing for women's MMA. I think it would be the highest profile fight that could be done. I don't think it would make sense for her to come back and fight somebody else and take the risk of maybe losing and not being able to capitalize on the fight between me and her. I think it would make more sense to go straight to a title fight."
