Both the iPad Air and the iPad Mini 4G are two of the finest tablets in the market and they are both from Apple. They are both similar in so many ways that we have decided to compare them and seek out the better of the two.
At a glance, the most noticeable difference is the display. The iPad Air has a 9.7"retina display that produces 264ppi. The iPad Mini has a LCD screen that measures at 7.9" and it produces 324ppi. Despite being sharper than the Air, the iPad Mini lacks the Retina technology that is comforting for the eyes.
Under the case, both devices are identical as they run on the same 1.3GHz processor. However, the iPad Air is slightly faster thanks to the addition of a 1GB RAM in its arsenal.
Another thing to note is the devices' storage size. Like most Apple products, they are equipped with 16GB of storage space that is not expandable. Even on cameras, the 1.2MP front camera and 5MP rear shooter are identical for both devices.
The game changer is with the fact that the iPad Mini can run on 4G network which the Air can't. With that being said, there is no need to argue any further on why the iPad Mini sells more than the Air.
