"Sherlock" cast Benedict Cumberbatch find the world of glamor and fame is very difficult to keep up, as his "Hobbit" co-star Evangeline Lily said that women must have been drawn to the British actor because her intellect is sexy.
"It's really hard. It's really, really hard. It's a difficult job with all the success comes a whole new load of prolems," Sherlock" cast Benedict Cumberbatch told the "British Academy of Film and Television Arts" in an interview.
However, he said there's no magic formula to his own success as he advised up and coming actors to just "persevere."
But he does find some magic in the process of filming, as well as the constant aim for perfection.
"It's that constant pursuit of the unattainable which is kind of magic, really. It should keep us kind of motivated to try better. Fail again, fail better," he added.
Meanwhile, Australian Evangeline Lily, "Sherlock" cast Benedict Cumberbatch's co-star in "The Hobbit," explained to Sheknows.com why he is popular with women.
"Benedict is just as fabulous as you think he is. What's so laughable about the whole love affair the world is having with that handsome man: I love that he's the epitome of intellect," she said.
"He's not a hot guy on a motorcycle. He's so classy, so intellectual, and yet women are just fawning over him. I love that," Evangeline Lily added. "I think it's such a great testament to the myriad different versions of sexy in the world."
"Sherlock" actor Benedict Cumberbatch's sexy charms earned for him a fifth spot in Glamour magazine's "Sexiest Men of 2013" and No. 1 in Empire magazine's "100 Sexiest Movie Stars" survey. He was also voted UK Sun's "hottest bloke in Britain" in 2012 and 2013. He was also named in TIME magazine's "100 Most Influential People."
