Last Tuesday, a reliable soure AnimeNewsNetwork featured news about the film adaptation of Parasyte and expect that there are two films. It said that the first part of the film will be released on November 29.

Who are the casts of the film adaptation?

Shōta Sometani (live-action xxxHOLiC, All Esper Dayo!) will play as Shinichi Izumi, Eri Fukatsu (Onnanoko Monogatari) as Ryōko Tamiya, and Ai Hashimoto (Blood-C: The Last Dark, live-action Another, Sadako 3D) as play Satomi Murano.

Moviegoers should also expect Tadanobu Asano, he will play Gotō in the movie, Masahiro Higashide as Hideo Shimada, Miko Yoki as Nobuko Izumi, and Jun Kunimura as Hirama, Kazuki Kitamura as Takeshi Hirokawa, Hirofumi Arai as Uragami, Pierre Taki as Miki, and Nao Omori as Kuramori.

It is also expected that this manga will be getting a television anime adaptation and it will be aired on NTV starting this fall.

Takashi Yamazaki (live-action Space Battleship Yamato, Always: Sunset on Third Street) will be the director of the films, while Ryūta Kosawa (Always: Sunset on Third Street, Shōnen H) is responsible on writing for the films' scripts.

The first film of Parasyte will be opened in Japan on November 29, and the second film will open in 2015.

Plot

The manga leads audience into a story in a world where alien beings called Parasites come to Earth and start taking over humans by entering in through their noses and ears and attaching themselves to their brains.

An alien called Migi is only one who is cable to take over high school student Shinichi Izumi's right arm, however it can't control Shinichi completely. The two (Migi and Shinichi) learn to co-exist instead of arguing. The two fights other Parasites who eat humans .
