Having been friends for "such a long time" according to a source, the newly married Adam Levine had "22 Jump Street" star Jonah Hill officiate his wedding to Behati Prinsloo over the weekend.
E! News reports that the comedian made the guests laugh as he told stories about the Maroon 5 frontman.
Hill also shared a joke about how he Levine, Robert Downey, Jr., and Stevie Nicks used to skateboard around when they were kids. Sources say he "set up the joke perfectly" and that his "timing was perfect." He pretty much had all the guests giggling throughout the ceremony.
"Jonah was hysterical. He was telling so many jokes, but then in the middle would be so sweet and sincere," a source who was a guest at the nuptials reportedly told E! News.
The "The Voice" coach's close friend didn't leave out praises for the bride as well."He also talked about how sweet Behati is and how perfect they are for one another," the source continued to share. Hill was definitely all praises as he told the well-wishers how Levine was such a "wonderful guy and has so much to give."
The glowing bride's father, who is a minister, also gave his blessing for the couple during the "loose, romantic and fun" wedding.
Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo swapped vows in front of about 300 guests in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Levine wore a fitted tux while his bride walked down the aisle in a Marchesa gown.
Aside from Jonah Hill, who officiated, and Stevie Nicks, who sang for the newlyweds, other stars also made an appearance. Robert Downey, Jr., Jason Segal, and Erin Hearthenton were among the crowd wearing linen suits and bright summer outfits.
The resort reportedly hired a 100-man security team to assist Levine and Prinsloo and keep the ceremony as private and intimate as possible. They also asked their guests to donate to the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles instead of giving them wedding presents.
The couple will head on to South Africa for their honeymoon following a brunch with their friends and family.
