"The Big Bang Theory" season 8 news is buzzing about the holdup in production because the original cast members want a salary increase. However, CBS president is still optimistic about pushing through with the new deals.

The HuffingtonPost reported "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 news by reporting that the contracts for Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki have not been signed yet.

Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar are also demanding a pay raise from their $125,000 and $75,000 per episode rating.

"This isn't the first time a paycheck has caused problems for the series. In 2010, the original cast renegotiated their salaries after the massive success of the show's first few seasons," it said. "Now, reportedly, there's been 'little dialogue' between the two sides, although more communication is expected to happen as the film deadline draws near."

Accordingly, the biggest stars in the show, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoko and Johnny Galecki have been collecting $350,000 per episode. But Deadline is thinking that the actors want almost $1 million per episode for the eight season.

Meanwhile, TVLine has provided "The Big Bang Theory" news update when it said that CBS head honcho for Entertainment, Nina Tassler, remains confident that a deal is going to be struck for the three actors. Nina Tassler was one of the panelists of the Television Critics Association summer press tour on Thursday.

"The Big Bang Theory" will start season 8 on September 22 at 8 p.m. of Mondays as CBS shifts is schedule for "Thursday Night Football." This will continue on until October 27 when the timeslot will be replaced by "2 Broke Girls."

That means "The Big Bang Theory" will go back to its regular Thursday lineup on October 30 at 8 p.m., Orlando Sentinel reported.

In the season 7 finale Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) has flown the coop after, in his mind, a series of unfortunate events.
