Holly Holm's UFC title shot may not happen any time soon, and "The Preacher's Daughter" is perfectly fine with it. Meanwhile, the undefeated fighter is all good with the inclusion of Ronda Rousey in the pound-for-pound list along with the male fighters.

The undefeated fighter spoke with ESPN.com, adding that she is OK with the UFC's stipulation of giving Gina Carano an immediate title shot if the deal turns into a success.

"Carano has been on the big show before, so she can handle the pressure," Holm said. "There are a lot of girls who have been working hard for a shot who might deserve it a little more than someone who has been out that long, but Carano has put a lot of time in before."

"She's earned her spot in certain ways," she added. "Who am I to say Carano is undeserving of an opportunity? I'll let the promoter make those decisions."

Holly Holm's UFC signing happened two weeks ago, as she joins the growing number of elite female fighters in the most prominent mixed martial arts promotion company in the world.

She currently holds a spotless win-loss slate of 7-0. She also competed in both professional boxing and kickboxing, where she holds a 33-2-3 record and 2-1 record, respectively.

While Holly Holm's UFC debut has not yet been finalized, reigining UFC women's bantamweight champion "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey has already expressed her intention to face "The Preacher's Daughter."

"I would love to fight Holly Holm," Rousey said in an interview with MMA Junkie. "I would absolutely love to fight Holly Holm."

"I really hope that the UFC picks Holly up and that I get to fight her before I retire," she added.

Holly Holm also holds the same respect for "Rowdy", who has taken the No. 9 spot at the UFC's top pound-for-pound fighters list. For "The Preacher's Daughter," a woman being included amongst a list of male fighters is something she would want for herself as well.

"I know there is a certain strength in men that is a little different in females but personally I would like to be on a pound-for-pound list that's mixed," Holm said. "It's a compliment."
