Klaus finally gets the family he wants!
"The Originals" star Joseph Morgan married his "The Vampire Diaries" co-star Persia White in an intimate wedding ceremony. They tied the knot in front of just 26 guests at a private villa in Ocho Rios, Jamaica last July 5, People reports.
The couple, who met on the set of "The Vampire Diaries" season three, got married close to where Morgan proposed two months prior. They reportedly chose the beach because they both grew up near the ocean.
White added, "To be by the sea was wonderful. And the people of Jamaica are just wonderful."
He may be ruthless and evil as Klaus, but Morgan was a dapper gentleman in an ivory-colored tux on his wedding day. His best friend of 20 years, Matt Ryan (who's set to play Constantine in the new NBC series), stood by him as best man.
"And then I had a bow tie," the new groom told People. "In fact, the bow tie was the first bow tie I've ever tied myself, so I was quite proud of that,".
White, on the other hand, looked amazing in a Vera Wang wedding dress with a cathedral-length veil and flowers in her hair.
They hired a local Jamaican band, Children of the Drums (composed of 6 drummers) who "got everybody up on the dance floor" during the reception. They also kept their food plant-based with a triple-layered vegan chocolate cake covered in vanilla icing.
As for their honeymoon, they took a helicopter over to Negril but not before "partaking in the favorite local pastime - cliff jumping," according to Morgan.
Although White was scared of the activity, she proudly adds, "That was what was more daunting than anything else. And we did it together, so we're pretty proud of that."
The Morgans are now working on starting their family, hoping to fill it with "little cute mini Josephs!"
