Apple fans remain to have the same questions in their heads: "When will Apple release the iPad Air 2" and iPhone 6? What are their notable features?"
Unfortunately Apple despite all the noise experts and fans are making on the web, is still mum about the launch of their new gadgets. It is still unknown what special features and specs the two new devices will have.
The same goes for the release date. Until now, fans are still left in the dark about the real release date of the new iPad and iPhone.
Previous reports have already disclosed some of the rumored notable features of the new Apple gadgets, and have hinted a late 2014 release for both. However, a new report has surfaced claiming that production for the devices has been delayed.
According to a report from 64Games, Chinese media has leaked information about the production of the new iPad and iPhone. Both devices were already given the go signal for mass production this August, but because of "yield issues" within Apple's supply chain, production was pushed back to September.
While this causes a huge delay, experts are still hoping for the best that a December 2014 release date for both anticipated gadgets is still feasible.
Aside from the release date rumors, the web is abuzz with iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2 specs rumors.
In an interview with Seeking Alpha, analyst Matt Margolis dished on the sapphire cover glass.
"As a result of my most recent supply chain check I believe that the Mesa sapphire operations will have ample supply to cover the iWatch, the 4.7″ iPhone and the 5.5″ iPhone with full sapphire cover glass in 2014. Additionally, the maximum sapphire screen capacity of the Mesa facility is likely to exceed 200m annual units," said Margolis.
The iPhone 6 will reportedly have major upgrades in its camera. According to 64Games, Apple might put a Sony-made sensor of 13MP upgrade on the new iPhone's camera. Aside from that, the new iPhone is rumored to have an ultra-thin battery making it lighter than the previous models.
KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo on the other hand predicted some notable specs that the iPad Air 2 might have. Aside from having major improvements on its speed and performance because of the Apple A8 processor, he also suggested that it will have Apple's fingerprint scanner technology called Touch ID which first debuted on the iPhone 5S.
The tablet will also run on iOS 8 that will come with rumored features and functions such as the split-screen multitasking feature in mobile devices, which will enable users to use two applications at the same time.
