FX head honcho John Landgraf dished out more "American Horror Story" season 4 spoilers to Entertainment Weekly when he talked about the tone of the show.
"Some years it's going to be big and bright and brash and campy the way 'Coven' is," he said. "Other years it's going to be dark and brooding-like 'Asylum' was," he said.
"I guess I would put Freak Show half-way in between the two. It's not quite as brooding and formal and Hitchockian as 'Asylum,' it's got a little bit more humor and a little bit more camp, but its got a brooding period feel to it also," the FX CEO said.
Meanwhile, Kathy Bates revealed to Den of Geek that shooting "Freak Show" unnerved her a bit.
"The man behind the curtain has come out in front of the curtain. It's so lame. I must be nervous. After my first scene one week, I got home and couldn't go to sleep, and then I slept for 30 hours - and that was without drugs. I swear to God, I think he scares the sh-t out of me," she said.
