"Fast and Furious" actor Vin Diesel recently covered Sam Smith's hit song, "Stay With Me" and the result was pretty impressive.
The hunky actor was initially asked by U.K.'s Capital FM to reprise Smith's hit song and he did exactly as he was told - and more.
Earlier this week, Diesel, who was at the radio station to promote his upcoming film "Guardians of the Galaxy," sang his heart out and belted out to the young singer's music, US Weekly noted.
Even though he read through the lyrics of the song, the way he sang the words, "Guess it's true, I'm not good at a one-night stand but I still need love cause I'm just a man. These nights never seem to go to plan, I don't want you to leave, will you hold my hand?" was really something.
Smith, 22, himself was impressed by Diesel's rendition and on Wednesday he tweeted his reaction and said, "Vin Diesel just covered Stay With Me. Surreal. Thanks man haha."
Then on Thursday, Smith spoke to Capital Breakfast and gushed over the action star, according to People.
"First of all, I thought it was gonna be good, because I thought if it's Vin Diesel singing it must be great, but when I heard it, it's the most hilarious thing I've heard in my life. It's amazing. It's brilliant. The falsetto and the chest voice is unreal."
He added, "It's so weird for me because I remember watching XXX when I was like 11 years old. I definitely think we should do a duet on day, it would be amazing."
Meanwhile, in the past, Diesel has already made a mark on his fans after he danced to Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" and sang Rihanna's "Stay." At one point, he also danced to Beyonce's "Drunk in Love," Buzzfeed reported.
