"Big Bang Theory" actress Kaley Cuoco and her co-stars were granted salary increase for the hit sitcom after long negotiations that prompted the halt of the production. According to reports, negotiations are now closed after the Warner Bros. TV decided to give in to the requests of the stars.

The Daily Mail said that "Big Bang Theory" actress Kaley Cuoco and her co-stars Johnny Galecki and Jim Parsons were asking for a raise from $325,000 to $1 million per episode, which was reportedly granted by the production company.

Representative of "Big Bang Theory" actress Kaley Cuoco and her co-stars were reportedly negotiating the issue and resulted to the production hold-up, a report from Variety said.

The "Big Bang Theory" actress Kaley Cuoco and her co-stars also demanded a larger slice of the highest rated syndicated show on US television.

The three are said to be receiving a 0.25 point share of the hit CBS series profits.

Due to the issue on salary increase, the Warner Bros. TV decided to delay the start of production for the sitcom's eight season until contract negotiations have been addressed.

"Due to ongoing contract negotiations, production on "The Big Bang Theory" - which was originally scheduled to begin today - has been postponed," Warner Bros. TV said in a press release last week.

Kaley Cuoco's fellow co-stars Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar are also under contract negotiations as they demanded higher salary increases for their service in the hit sitcom.

Meanwhile, "Big Bang Theory" fellow cast members Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch have already signed their new contract deals and have also landed larger salaries.
