"Dracula Untold" spoilers include the showing of official teasers and a release date on October 17, 2014 for the much-awaited origin film. Luke Evans portrays Vlad III Tepes in this epic movie directed by Gary Shore with screenplay by Matt Sazama.

Hallels reported that unlike the other vampire films that have graced the big screen, this version, which was originally entitled "Dracula Year Zero," is different: it casts the infamous king of bloodsuckers as the good guy. Hallels has shared "Dracula Untold" spoilers gist to give moviegoers an idea about just how different the approach is.

The tale begins with Prince Vlad who is forced to put everything on the line just to save his family and people from a supreme menace: the armies of the Ottoman Empire. The armies, spearheaded by Sultan Mehmed, are fearsome invaders whose great number make them more superior to his armies. They are out to take over his land and claim everything he has.

In desperation, Prince Vlad seeks the aid of an old evil force in the mountains. The ancient one then asks him to drink a cup of his own blood, and this is how he acquired the supernatural powers - flying, changing himself into a cloud of bats, teleportation and invisibility - that enable him to overcome the invaders.

Another "Dracula Untold" spoilers revealed by Total Film stated that the creators and participants refuse to refer to it as a vampire flick. Evans told Total Film that it is a different tale they are telling in the movie. He even added that he did not really like vampire flicks.

Gary Shore corroborated this when he said that their movie was a historical epic. Despite the use of scare factors, he said that it was more of tale about a journey filled with action and adventure that transpire in a huge historical setting.
