"The Good Wife" season 6 spoilers hinted of a possible spinoff involving cast Carrie Preston, as Steven Pasquale was tapped to play Elfman who will take charge of Alicia's campaign to run for state attorney.
According to "The Good Wife" season 6 spoilers reported by E! News, Carrie Preston (Elsbeth Tascioni) will still be on hand when the series resumes but only for a few episodes. But she revealed during the San Diego Comic-Con that beyond the hit series, there's going to be more to come.
"There you go, I'll be there. I'll do the Kickstarter videos. I'll beg people, more Elsbeth! I am coming back for a couple more episodes, so..." she said.
She already spoke with E! Online earlier this year and promised of something big for her character. Last season, Elsbeth Tascioni announced that she would be building a new law firm with the backing of Rayna Hecht.
"I think they concentrate on the season at hand, and then we'll see. I'm hoping that they'll want to open up a dialogue with me," she said. "But you know, there's lots of things that go into something like that happening, but my fingers are crossed."
Carrie Preston also said that she would love to continue to play Elsbeth Tascioni but the schedule is very difficult for her since "it shoots in New York and my husband's there most of the year shooting Person of Interest, and it would just be amazing for us to actually be working in the same city."
