Some Coldplay songs have been done in close collaboration with other artists. But the band's front act, Chris Martin, has boldly spoken about not doing a collaboration with one particular artist.
It is no doubt that "Problem" singer Ariana Grande is a talented artist, but Chris just can't do a collab with her.
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM show, Chris shared, "I would man, but she can sing so much better than me. I don't want to be humiliated in that fashion. I was in the car yesterday and Problem was on. I was like, 'I just can't do that."
The "Problem" singer has so far teamed-up with Jessie J, Iggy Azalea and Nicki Minaj on her new album "My Everything."
Meanwhile, the famous rock band has also taken time to make a particular fan very happy.
Jody Duff has motor neurone disease, and he was quite surprised that Coldplay donated £10,000 for his treatments.
Mirror reported, "Jody Duff, 37, was stunned when the money appeared on his JustGiving page."
"He had gone to a Coldplay concert the week before, not realising that one of his pals had written to the band telling them about his struggle with the disease."
Jody shared, "Chris was genuinely interested in learning about motor neurone disease."
Apart from the donation, the band invited Jody to another concert wherein they dedicated one of the famous Coldplay songs- "Fix You"- to him. Chris then told the audience, "We just want to send him, from us and from all of you, as much love as we possibly can."
