Despite denying the rumors through Twitter two months ago, Jennifer Lopez and Maksim Chmerkovskiy's dating issue refused to die down.
The issue sparked when the pair were seen sharing a few more than friendly touches at a club during an after party for the superstar's concert in Conneticut. JLo denied her romantic connection to a fan in Twitter, simply answering, "No, I'm not. #rumors #nottrue."
The issue enflamed, however when JLo invited the 'Dancing With The Stars' alum to her lavish 45th birthday party in Southampton New York's Nammos Estiatorrio.
About a hundred guests attended the July 24 event, including girl pals Leah Remini and Khloe Kardashian. One of the attendees reported to the Boston Herald that the two "kissed and were very touchy" during the party. The same source added that they "looked totally together."
Another source noted, "Their chemistry was undeniable!"
During Chmerkovskiy's 'Sway: A Dance Trilogy' on July 26 in Westbury, New York, however, the 34-year-old dancer refused to answer any questions regarding the rumors.
Jennifer Lopez and Maksim Chmerkovskiy dating questions were met with a no comment, with the pro dancer telling the press that he would only answer queries regarding his performance for 'Sway.'
"I'm just focused on dancing," he explained. "I'm not interested in talking about anything other than the show."
He was also unclear whether the 'American Idol' judge would show up or not.
"I have a lot of friends and a lot of them are coming tonight," he told People.
The 'I Luv Yah, Papi' singer did not watch his performance, as many expected that night.
He was joined on stage by his brother Valentin, as well as his 'Dancing With The Stars' friends, Peta Murgatroyd, Elena Grinenko, Tony Dovolani, and his former partner, Disney star, Zendaya.
Whether the Jennifer Lopez and Maksim Chmerkovskiy dating rumors are real or not, the DWTS star already subtly expressed his sentiments on Twitter months ago, "I've got 4 words for everyone. LIVE AND LET LIVE! NAMESTE Y'ALL."
