Gina Carano's fight against Ronda Rousey is seen as the "worst style matchup" for "Rowdy" according to her trainer. The reigning women's champion is also concerned about "Conviction's" one-punch knockout power.

While Gina Carano's fight has no set date yet, the clamored match-up has garnered mixed reactions from the fight community. Most recently, UFC Hall-of-Famer and two-division champion Randy "The Natural" Couture voiced out his opinion, stating that throwing in Gina Carano against Ronda Rousey immediately would not be a good idea.

"I think it's silly, it'd be silly for Gina," Couture said in his recent appearance on The MMA Hour. "I think Gina has way more to lose there than she has to gain in stepping right in to a title fight after being off and off the mats in training environment for five years. And frankly she's done a great job in her movie career, I don't know why she would want to do that."

Ronda Rousey herself welcomed the idea of the Gina Carano fight. However, one of her coaches was hesitant about the idea, describing it as the "worst style match-up."

"Well, I want to win, of course," Rousey told ESPN. "That's how every fight goes down. But my coach said from the start that Gina is the worst style matchup for me."

"I'm not just saying that," she added. "I don't have to worry about fighters outmuscling or overwhelming me or catching me on the mat."

Gina Carano last competed in professional mixed martial arts in 2009, against Cristianne "Cyborg" Justino under the now defunct Strikeforce organization. She did, however, lose via first round knockout.

"Conviction" may have had a long lay off from fighting, but Ronda Rousey still respects her as a fellow competitor, and is mainly concerned with her potential challenger's punching power.

"The only thing I have to worry about is the one-punch knockout," Rousey said. "And out of all of the women in MMA, Gina has the best feel for distance and timing."

"She's the one who can knock you out while standing on her feet with one punch," she continued. "That's what makes her the most dangerous."
